Bugfix: Username availability in participant sign up process

Dear KlickerUZH Community,

It has been brought to our attention that the participant signup process has been a source of confusion for some of you, due to issues with the username selection. Specifically, the original UI failed to provide clear feedback when a username, that was already in use, was entered during signup, resulting in a failed registration.

We are pleased to announce that we’ve addressed this issue. The improved signup UI now immediately provides feedback regarding the availability of a username, and offers clear error messages in case a certain username is not available anymore. At the same time, we extended the maximum length of the usernames from 10 to 15 characters to offer more possible choices.
