Dear KlickerUZH Community,
It has been brought to our attention that the participant signup process has been a source of confusion for some of you, due to issues with the username selection. Specifically, the original UI failed to provide clear feedback when a username, that was already in use, was entered during signup, resulting in a failed registration.
We are pleased to announce that we’ve addressed this issue. The improved signup UI now immediately provides feedback regarding the availability of a username, and offers clear error messages in case a certain username is not available anymore. At the same time, we extended the maximum length of the usernames from 10 to 15 characters to offer more possible choices.
Should you experience any further issues or have additional feedback, please do not hesitate to respond to this update, post in our community or create a new feature request / bug report.
